This Easter...to give a person a tree is to give them a present...to teach them how to make a tree is to give them a gift for life.
' Two Wolves '
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, inside us all rages the battle between 2 wolves."
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good.It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.
The boy thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

Love this post! It is so true...the wolf that wins is the one you feed. Here's to feeding what gives life and love and starving out what ekes the goodness out of the very air.
